Unpacking the New Apple Updates

At its annual Worldwide Developer’s Conference in June, Apple unveiled a preview of the two newest versions of its flagship operating systems: Mac OS X El Capitan and iOS 9. The tech giant followed the announcement by releasing the beta versions of both systems to developers, which means that the updates will soon be in the hands of die-hard Apple fans everywhere! Check out these great new features that will soon be a part of your Apple experience, and when you’re in need of Mac or iPhone 6 plus repair in Peachtree City, remember that LifeLine has the Peachtree City repair specialists who can fix any device and get you working again in a flash.
Mac OS X El Capitan
With the release of El Capitan, Apple has made further progress with integrating their core design structure and creating a distinct bond between OS X and its mobile counterpart, iOS 9. Mission Control, which was introduced in the 2011 update OS X Lion, is better than ever, featuring a new layout that doesn’t overlap windows from the same application. This results in increased readability for your entire collection of open windows and easier toggling between applications. Full-screen apps are also much simpler to manage, as Apple has included the ability to take two open apps and display them side-by-side in full-screen mode.
Spotlight search has also been powered up, with even more search options available now such as weather and web videos. You can even ask Spotlight a question such as, “What’s the weather like in Peachtree City?” much like you would with Siri, and Spotlight will display its answer in the app itself.
iOS 9
iPhone and iPad users wait all year for the newest iOS release, and version 9 includes myriad features that will please power users and tech newbies alike. One of the most welcome upgrades is a newly-designed multitasking interface, featuring a streamlined layout that makes switching between open apps even easier.
Another feature that will have frequent travelers jumping for joy is the integration of public transit directions into Apple Maps.
